What hardware do I need?
To run mobilevantage you will need a PC based in the office and mobile computers or PDAs for your mobile workers. You may be able to use your existing hardware, if you already have this in place.
There are a wide range of mobile computers and PDAs on the market and mobilevantage will work on ANY Windows Mobile device. If you're not sure which product is best for your business then Codegate can help.
Aside from budget, the most important thing to consider is the environment your workers operate in and the stresses and strains the device is likely to face as the last thing you want is for the device to fail because it got dropped onto the floor or got wet from the rain. Although a Smartphone or PDA may seem like the best choice due to cost, often it is more beneficial to invest in a more rugged device designed to take drops and knocks to ensure you minimise downtime and repair / replacement costs.
